Peer Empowerment Group

The Peer Empowerment Group is designed for individuals interested in learning about advocacy with a focus on empowerment. You are invited to attend and participate in open discussions (see the topics below)! You'll meet with other Self-Advocates that embrace teamwork and involvement. We would love to meet new Self-Advocates!

Discussion topics will include but are not limited to:

• COVID-19/pandemic
• Direct support professionals/staffing
• LifePlans/CareManagers
• Any other topics you would like to learn more about

Note: these sessions are held on the fourth Thursday of every month except for holidays. 

The Peer Empowerment Group meetings are hosted by, and in partnership with, Care Design NY.
